You already know my quirky sense of humor... I just can't make “normal” ceramics- my head is always buzzing with puns, associations, and jokes ;-)
This series came about spontaneously- I wanted to make one mug with an original meme inspired by famous figures from painting. In the end, I created over a dozen memes, and I still have new ideas ;-) Someone stop me! ;-)
The illustration depicts van Gogh and "The Lady with the Ermine" in couples therapy. Playing the role of the therapist, of course, is the figure from Edvard Munch’s painting "The Scream". In the center is the inscription: THE EARTH WITHOUT ART IS JUST “EH”.
